I'm Rye, an Ottawa-based human specializing in illustration, design and carefully crafted handmade goods. I've been creating things professionally for the past 15 or so years and it's alright.
As a graphic designer I've spent more than a decade working across the board in advertising, sign making, web design, and UI/UX product design. My true passion for illustration came into focus during my time at Shopify. As a founding member of the illustration team, I played a key role in shaping Shopify's unique visual style for merchants. Seeking a new challenge, I left the cozy gig behind to explore and experiment with new creative avenues and focus on forging my own path as an illustrator.
